Playing this newly acquired album again.
I really like it.
Sluijs' sax sound is very lyrical, and he has good ideas and Mendoza is wonderful pianist, I've seen him a couple of times live.

Herbie Hancock - River - The Joni Letters




Hancock and his crew of magnificent musicians (Wayne Shorter!) and vocalists make this album an absolute fav of mine.

Owl Records 2002 reissue

Petrucciani is new to me. This is an excellent trio recording, reminiscent of Bill Evans.
