Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers - Album of the Year

This album really breathes energy and enthusiasm.
I love it since it came out in the beginning of the 80s.

Default Midnight Sugar

Just got this from Ivan as my prize for "winning" the Oct 2017 music giveaway...

Midnight Sugar
Hybrid SACD
Tsuyoshi Yamamoto

Excellent jazz captured by a superb recording. A lot of the piano notes are on the high-frequency side but they come across very nicely through the 20.7s. A lesser recording would have sounded shrill and unpleasant.
