Welcome and thanks for the good wishes. We are getting hammered pretty good up here in the lower Hudson Valley, about 25 miles north of NYC. BTW, it's Whart, which is my name- W. Hart
I've been called far worse. |

Hi,
I have the Lpi and numerous ultras and ultra 5s. They are an incredible performance tool that I would not be without. The Lpi is used with my vpi classic 2. It did not change the overall sound of the system and require any adjustment as has been previously described. For me, in my system, I gained further stabilisation of the soundstage ans enhanced levels of detail. The image had more precision and focus in a good cd kind of way - stability. Decay of notes was more delineated too. Ultra 5s are crazy good. I use them under my devialet. I know it sounds totally mad and I would never have believed it till I auditioned them especially with my amp. I would guess tube amps would benefit but not a devialet. I was very wrong. Audition at wallets peril. |
