Mike.......The Sony MDR-XB1000 looks humongous, but it also looks very comfortable. It appears to be very well made. The bottom line is the sound, of course, so how is it?

I just tried them on my iPhone 4. The volume control has plenty on room to go but my ears can't take the volume level. The plug works with the iPhone 4 Bumper Case. It seems like this thing was designed for portable use.
