Default PS Audio P10 Intitial Observations

In my constant OCD-fueled search for sonic perfection, I decided to evaluate how I could get some noticeable improvements from my rig. Having spent a small fortune on sub-panels, dedicated circuits, gold-plated Furutech outlets, power cords, interconnects and speaker cables, I figured that it might be interesting to evaluate PS Audio power products.

Of course, Ivan was extremely helpful (and patient) with my numerous questions. For those of you who have dealt with Ivan, you already know what I am talking about. For those who don't, I can assure you that he will not steer you wrong with his recommendations - all of which come to you on an almost 24/4 availability and without any high pressure sales tactics!

While I only needed a P5, I decided to go with a P10 to potentially compensate for another OCD flare-up in the future.

Anyways, the P10 arrived at my office (its a beast weighing 80 pounds or so). It was well packed and installation was a breeze. On-line registration was very simple and the control app is interesting.

For the first ten hours or so, the P10 did make a noticeable difference but it really began to demonstrate its true potential at the 100 hour mark. I am hearing much more amazing detail, better low end, more clarity in the mid and higher ranges. I suspect that it things will continue to improve over time.

Thanks to PS Audio for making a great product and thanks to Ivan for another great buying experience!

They rock. Adding better fuse and isolation makes an additional improvement. The P10 sounds better than the 5 does too so wise investment. Try multi wave in setting 6. It takes a while for your equipment to settle with it to hear the differences but it is very noticeable once they do. Also clean wave is a very beneficial feature. I've had my two for years. Rock solid.

Ive been putting Synergistic Red fuses in all my PS Audio gear. Paul McGowan agrees that their equipment benefits from the upgrade!
