Anyone Familiar With Adam Speaker Systems?
A new member steve ringler has purchased ADAM speakers and is interested to see if any others of us have knowledge or personal experience with this fine German speaker line.
Steve's post and question follows . . . "Has anyone investigated Adam speaker systems? I bought a pair of Adam Audio Compact Classic Mk Three active speakers a few months ago for a secondary system (driven by line output of Peachtree Audio Nova) with CD and digital source material feeding the Nova. I primarily use this system to provide music to play my drums to. But it is a much more capable system than I am using it for. The Adam Compact Classic Mk 3's are true high end stand mount speakers. They are beautifully made and their response can be easily tailored for the room they are placed in by adjusting EQ and high and low gain controls. They use a sophisticated ribbon tweeter and quality midrange/woofer.Individual amplifiers tailored to the individual drivers are in each speaker cabinet. The same speaker can be purchased as a regular passive unit as well. I've also auditioned some of Adam's more ambitious offerings. They sounded like world class transducers in my limited audition. Adam is a German company and their products reflect typical German precision and stunning cosmetics."

Hi Julian, I am good friends with the local distributor of Adam speakers - I have heard the Tensor series quite extensively. I really like them. What does your friend want to know?
