A couple new gems from McIntosh announced today, that replace limited edition 70th anniversary components. The MC1502 amplifier is the replacement of the limited edition MC2152. The new amp has double the power of the storied MC275 amp but McIntosh managed to improve the signal to noise ratio in this single chassis to 112dB versus 105dB when using two MC275 amps to obtain 150 watts of power. In addition to the new MC1502, McIntosh released the C22 Mk V preamp as a direct replacement for the anniversary C70 preamp.

Orders for the MC1502 and C22 Mk V can now be placed with Authorized McIntosh dealers with shipping expected to begin in August 2020.
