Default Dynavector Collector, Expert?

I'm seeking a true Dynavector expert, collector - someone who might have archive photos from the pre DV Ultimo period 1978-1979 years.

Gotta few historical questions about my two cartridges stored/mothballed away and un-used for 30 years. Also, looking to source a stylus protector and case that was misplaced during a move long ago. Note: I've already emailed Dynavector Systems directly with no response yet. Thought someone here would have a good referral. Thanks in advance. Know of someone?

If no one responds on AAf, try AK. Also, Peter Ledermann, owner of SoundSmith, has always answered my e-mails in the past. He would likely be about as good a source as there is. Same with Michael Fremer at 'Stereophile'.

Thanks Glenn. You guys are a wealth of information here. Definitely looking for a bit of a historian too on the 2nd cartridge. It was all part of a larger system.

Need cases and stylus guards for a 20B and what I was told years ago is an extremely rare pre DV-30(a) mfg-distributor-only version cartridge with a special tip and slightly different designed chassis. Looks a lot like a 30a with no model number, just Dynavector. If I can't find cases/guards, I'll be looking for someone who makes custom cartridge cases out of wood or something. Some day maybe I'll acquire a turntable nice enough to use them. If not, may need to let them go to a true vinyl/turntable aficionado who can really benefit from them and let them sing. Appreciate the referrals.

Dynavector Japan got back to me today. No stylus protectors or cases available. Will look to see who makes a custom case and stylus protector...

However, Dynavector reconfirmed the 2nd cartridge is a "DV 30 Series".

Since there is a 20B and DV 30, may sell or trade the DV 30. Don't need both.

Huh?!? Rolling cartridges is every bit as much fun as rolling tubes. I'm always on the search for my next/best cartridge.

Yeah, i hear ya and may regret it later... and I could save it all, but know I won't have a turntable worthy enough for the level of the DV30 series. Dynavector Japan sent me some old photo pieced together paperwork on it. And, apparently one of the two is mega rare, a pre(A) version produced for release to distributors and dealers around the time when Ultimo > Dynavector came to fruition so I kinda want to see it go to a historian, collector, to a true phono/vinyl aficianado of sorts who truly knows what it is and can benefit from it. I may keep one of the two but likely going to let the rare one go. I'm applying all savings towards a new custom built set of monos, gotta compromise somewhere I guess. Thanks again.

Too many All over the map on the custom build tube amp options. Have a few in mind, but might go a completely different direction. After exploring various options the past year, i might just keep my big tube amp (like it too much) and look at a second pair of tubey sounding solid state mono block amps. Been avoiding this for a while...we have a world class builder right our back yard. Grew up working at the same speaker factory nearby in the late 70s early 80s. Afraid to ask to demo his amps on my custom built speakers knowing what will happen...gonna go check it out in a few weeks. Trying to talk myself out of it.

Am thinking of asking Dennis Had to build me a pair of EL34 PP monoblocks. Sort of an SLI-80 split in half. Used a pair of his 20wpc CAD-572SE monoblocks, which were terrific sounding. However, couldn't afford to keep them running as the 572 tube would only last about 8-900yr before frying.
