62Caddy, I am disappointed things didn't work out with the Polks. I heard a pair of their big speakers years ago and was favorably impressed especially with the bass. A speaker is a failure when the sound doesn't leave its enclosure.

I'm at a loss myself especially considering the great experience I've had with my other Polk speakers.

I'm still very satisfied with the performance of my Boston T1000s. Never expected they would still be holding their own after thirty years.

I agree Macuser, the SDA’s were interesting. I have a pair of 2.3tl’s that I did several updates to that I put in the system on occasion. They are fun to listen to, are they perfect - no but what speaker is! One thing for sure they are full range speakers!
