Also, Ivan, you forgot the MC302, which has been replaced by the MC312.

What about the Preamp, like the C2300, isn’t that out of production too?

It sounds like they are thinner the herd for with some major turn around for the company and start doing stuff like Marantzor denon. Or who knows. I hostile corporate takeover ?

Yeah, that's been gone for awhile now. The C2500 is also OOP.

Not so much bad luck as a bad association. In Mandarin, the sound of the pronunciation of “4” is very close to the sound of “death/dead”. Loosely, both sound like ‘si’.

Anyway, I don’t think that is the reason Mc skipped C-2400 but can’t really come up with another. Perhaps there is another manufacturer in Audio that has used that as a model number?
