While late-model Wilson Audio WATT/Puppies -- series 7 and 8 especially -- were good to go with the ML2s and ML2.1s, Vladimir Lamm doesn't recommend the ML2.2s for use with Sasha W/Ps (Lamm M1.2 Reference hybrid amps drive them gorgeously, however).

While I wholeheartedly agree about the M1.2s and Sasha since I've lived with that combo, the Momentum monoblocks+Sasha has redefined that concept for me. It is THE pairing to beat now, IMHO.

Hi Serge,

Can you compare and contrast the Momentums with the Lamms? While the Momentums are out of my price range, it would be interesting to hear your impressions.

If that discussion is not appropriate for this thread, I'd encourage to perhaps start a new thread on the WA board.

Thanks,

Dave

p.s., still loving my Lamm M1.2 reference amps.

Maybe Ivan can get us D'Agostino owners a new forum!

Hey Dave,

Was up to 3am spiking and positioning the new arrivals last night. The Sasha/Lamm combo, simply stated, is outstanding.

Hi, I'll be in your shoes soon. I move into my new house in 2 weeks. My dedicated audio room is much smaller than my current room and only measures 15' X 23' X 9'. I'm sure it will take quite a while to get the speakers set up just right. I'm not looking forward to the move process, but am looking forward to hearing the system in my new room.

It's a pretty amazing experience when everything locks in just right.

Dave

Congrats on the new house, I think. I previous conversations you've expressed some reticence about moving. My room is 14' x 21' x 8'. So the dimensions are very similar. I have hardwood floors with one large area rug centered in the room. Will your new room have carpet? Would you recommend that I wait intil the break in is over until I vowel them in? If you send me your email address, I'll send you pics of the room.

How do the Sashas do with the ML2.1s?

Is there a reason to prefer either the m1.2 or ml2.1/2.2 to drive either the wp8 or Sophia 2?

Thanks
