Doge 8
I sold some gear in order to dive into tubes to try with my Nola Viper iia speakers. I keep going back and forth between the CJ ET-3, which I have heard and liked quite a bit, and the Doge 8, which I have not heard, but have read nothing but rave reviews.
Does anyone have any experiences/thoughts on the Doge and how it may measure up to - or even surpass the ET-3? Thanks, Mark |

I own a Doge 8 and it is an outstanding preamp--accurate, detailed, dynamic and uncolored.
I haven't heard the CJ ET-3, but traditionally CJ gear has sounded on the warm and forgiving side of neutral. Roger Last edited by Steady339; 02-20-2013 at 03:05 AM. |

Thanks for the response, but in a major turn, I wound up purchasing a dehavilland ultraverve pre. We shall see how it goes.
