Here is a link to some older pics. Before the MXR twenty update. Also replaced VX5twenty with VXR20....had to special order to get black. Surround 2s replaced with Alidas to get matching tweeters throughout

What an amazing room. Congrats. I recently sold my Ayre MXR's after owning them for over 5 years. Really great amps. I've heard the MXR-20's and know they are pretty also...

I assume that's a Ayre DX-5 for video? Been wondering if I should be on the look out for one of those.

Speakers: Rockport Altair 2
Preamp: Robert Koda K10
Amp: Nagra Classic Amp w/ Transparent Opus Power Cord
Cables: Transparent Opus Gen 5 & Magnum Opus phono
Power Shunyata Triton v2/Typhon/DPC-6 v2, Anaconda Zitron cords (x4), Sigma HC & Analog (x4)
Digital dCS Vivaldi full stack w/ Transparent Reference XL Digital cables
Phono: Grand Prix Monaco TT, Spiral Groove Centroid, Jan Allaerts MC2 Finish, Nagra VPS/VFS/MPS
Racks: Grand Prix Audio Silverstone F1 (x3)

I have been following your latest amp journey and your transition to the full Vivaldi stack. Sounds like your system is in a good place now and your room is beautiful. I have considered a Koda 20 as the primary preamp for two channel but it would complicate my system setup and have not pulled the trigger

I do use a DX5 for bluray (non DSD version) with one hdmi direct to projector and one to the processor. I like the unit but over time I expect streaming to become more prevalent

Keep us posted on your experience with the Vivaldi. John Quick says the upgrades are coming soon

Hello, very nice room and setup you have.

Would you mind sharing which company makes the seats/chairs in the pics and if they recline?

Thanks

The chairs are made by cinematech in TX. The team there was a big help in designing a setup that worked in my room. These are the Mezzanine version. Each of the 10 seats recline independently and have adjustable headrest angles Highly recommended
