Buying More CDs Than Ever Since Buying the BDP2.
Since buying the BDP2 (soon to be upgraded to a BDP3), I find myself buying more CDs than ever; sometimes three and four a week. I buy them, rip them in aiff files and store them never to play again. Does anyone else find themselves buying more CDs since buying any of the Bryston digital players? I personally like the convenience of quick access to my music library.

I am in the same boat! I broke down and bought a media cabinet with 1052 capacity thinking that should hold every movie and cd I would want. Well its getting full way too fast.
I haven't finished ripping all of my discs onto the BDP3 and I am buying new ones already. I think Amazon is going to revoke my Prime account for overuse. I missed my MS750 music server and waited too long to find a better replacement. The BDA/BDP3 have proved to be a really good choice for me.

Jack, I have prime too. But when I hear an Album on Prime, if I like it, I wind up buying the CD because it is uncompressed whereas all Prime music is compressed mp3. So I buy the CD, because my Bryston gear is so revealing, I can hear the compression.

I use the Prime Music just to find new artists. Then I end up buying the cd

Although I am planning the ourchase of Bryston digital gear, my CD collection is constantly growing.
A few years back my then 10 year old daughter thought she'd struck it rich when I paid her $0.10 per CD to rip my 500 disc collection to my NAS. |

A BDA/BDP3 combo is on the horizon after I upgrade my processor.

You won't regret that decision! I've spent a whole lot more time listening to music since I bought mine from Ivan a few months back. Now I need to go back at comcast and get them to dump some movie channels because I don't watch anymore.

Jack, I, too, am listening to more music than ever due the the utter convenience of accessing it through my BDP-2. I am going to upgrade to the BDP3, but I don't know if I can do without the player for a month while it is being upgraded.
