If it doesn't alter the sound of what normally would come out of the speaker, then how does it change the sound in the room?

Hi
I don't think I gonna buy the MEN220. I know I have said that I would get one.
I can't hook up my system to this unit. I need threeway active crossover. I have dbx PA+ and I am very satified with it.

I have also treated my room accordingly to the laws of acoustics and it works fine here, without any room corretion.

It would be interesting to see some before and after measurements with and without the MEN220, I haven't seen one yet. Not only freq response.

But I agree with BuffaloBill....

Thanks

I prefer to have Ron C respond to that question but you could find the answer on the Lyngdorf site.

What is important here is that it changes the sound that reaches your ears. The MEN220 changes the sound so that it is equivalent to what your speakers would produce in a perfect environment. Almost none of us have that in our listening rooms.

I think I agree with BuffaloBill here.
I have no interest in a MEN220, new or used.

If I stay with the MX119 then a Men220 is in my future; however, if I upgrade to the MX150 then probably not.
