In my system I prefer the $700 Audioquest Thunder power cord to the much more expensive WW Platinum power cord.

The Audioquest's braided design seems to beat a lot other cords in the market.

That's what I was talking about in my last post. Some AA members have changed from WW to AQ...

I just upgraded to the AQ Hurricane. Major improvement over Wireworld, Nordost and Tellurium Q. Of course, this should be expected of a $2,000 power cord.

I have had three Dragon HC on order for well over a month in addition to the 2 Hurricanes already received. I have now talked to several people from AQ in addition to the dealer . All have been courteous but today I received a long explanatory and apologetic email from Joe Harley, CEO of AQ, which was above and beyond. A somewhat target date for order completion, but a better feeling gained. Apparently the new power cords level the competition by unsolicited testimony and acclaim.

Would love to see more tests. Tests for the whole Storm-Series.

Hi restock,

I compared them to Frey 2 and Tyre 2. The AQ won out big a significant margin. It had the most pronounced impact on my Esoteric K-01X.

Best,

Greg
