Jude at head-fi gave it a whirl and said it was a distinct step up from the 120. A pocket sized Mackie then? Let's see.

I own the AK120 Titan which gives me 256GB of space and sounds fabulous...the UI is a bit flukey and sadly the search feature is awful so it is a hassle to find my music.....that said I do actually have tons of WMA 192 bit rate stuff that I listen to on it and it sounds far better than on my Zune and or Cowon X7....I havent heard the 240 but it would be hard for me to spend almost twice as much as I have on my current DAP

I have hesitated between getting a AK240 or a Chord Hugo (using a phone or a computer as source).
Decided to go with the AK240.
