I actually went the opposite direction. I "upgraded" (really more of a lateral move honestly) to a C47 from a C220. I felt like the C220 didn't do my MC302 justice. I imagine a C2600 is a lot better than a C220 though.

I'm about to do this very swap. I just bought my core system about a week ago (C52/MC452/Sonus Faber Olympica II). I originally wanted a tube pre, but my dealer made me a really nice offer on an open box C52 that I decided to jump on. It's a great system, but the fact that I don't have tubes in the input stage is gnawing at me, and I'm almost certainly going to swap out the C52 for a C2600. Let the rolling begin...

C2600+MC302 was quiet good! loved it.. i might just go instead and save for a C1100T to go with a MC302 in the far future.. its a long ways to go...

A Mc valve pre and SS amp creates fantastic synergy. Love your system. What is setting on top of your 302?

I procured a C2600 for my b&w 805d3. Wondering which power amp is good? Two 501 mono block. Or c452 or mc275.

Even the MC302 would be suffice for the 805D3....

I have a MC152 + C2600 powering a SF Guarneri Evolution. Wondering if I should upgrade to a MC302 for more oomph. My room is just 17sqm (around 150sq ft?) only though. Also looking at adding a phono stage.

I would be interested in knowing how the MC302 amp is working for you. I’ve had it in my mind for awhile to purchase one.
