Thanks, Pete. That's a nice-looking collection. It's beginning to look like a cabinet will be my next acquisition.

Thanks, Dan. They'd sent a catalog along with the 77, and I've already been poring through it this morning.

Thanks for the suggestion, Pete. A candy store second to none is just what my audio sweet tooth and especially my wallet need.

Default Soon to be joined

by an MR74 as the secondary system's tuner.

Scored one, complete with cabinet and panlocs, on eBay last evening. Once it arrives, I'll probably ship it off for a thorough checkout, possible recapping, and alignment. I'm thinking Audio Classics or Terry deWick, but if there's a comparable West Coast facility someone here can recommend, I'd consider that as well.

Good deal Jim! I'd like to snatch up an MR74 one day, just for the sake of having one. It's a very nice tuner and I've heard many good things as to its sound.

I've heard much the same, Pete. And my curiosity about it has been fueled by the comparisons to the 77 which I've read. So now I'll have the opportunity to hear them for myself.

Jim.......Congratulations on the MR74 purchase. Another nice advantage the MR74 offers is the AM band. And, as has been noted, the MR74's FM sound is rich and satisfying. I am very happy with mine.
