The Alexandrov Song and Dance Ensemble of the Soviet Union recorded during the Brezhnev era. A record my parents bought in 1980 out of curiosity. Recording quality is very good. The songs are beautiful, full of sadness and longing as can only be expressed by a people who suffered tremendous losses in war.
