BDP-1 again?

I am so impressed with my two BDP-1's in the Cape, I ordered one for "The Room" in Florida.

I love the ease of use, iPad app, and Hi-Res downloads.

After all the great reviews and your positive comments Ivan, I have been biting my finger nails while I save up the last few dollars for the BDA-1 to go with the BDP-1. Mine is sitting in the cabinet above my right channel 601 amp. It reminds me of one of those Stealth bombers in flat black.

I been very impressed with the BDP-1 too plus being able to access my favorite internet stations via Gnome software, I am happy camper no more need to use Sonos for internet radio

Support from James Tanner has been great, at work ( stereo shop ) I promote the Bryston dac and BDP-1 to every customer....it is great to work at shop that sells great quality, Bryston, McIntosh, B&W, Martin Logan etc

Just finished reading the review in the Absolute Sound - quite impressive! I hope to see and hear this unit at RMAF. Seriously considering it. Comments on sound quality and simplicity to setup and use are very appealing!

I wonder how it would mate with the ARC DAC8? Any comments?

Hi Mike,

Since no one has posted, I will give my nickel 95. I have read everything I could find on the ARC DAC8 and it is one killer DAC. Different ones talk about the ARC sound, but anyone that has heard it like what they hear from what I have read. Feed the ARC with music from the Bryston BDP-1 and I don't see how you could beat that combination. I would think (I am just thinking here) it would be like sending the output of the BDP-1 to the MCD1100 DACs. The convenience of not having to fip though all those CD has got to be a big plus too. I am sure looking forward to it. My Bryston BDA-1 is coming shortly. You probably know that both Bryston units come close to the cost of the ARC DAC8. That’s why I didn't go with the DAC8, I didn't think I could wait that long to save up for it.

Exactly what I was thinking. My hope is to be able to see the BDP 1 at RMAF. I had been considering getting an Apple Mini to build a music server but the BDP 1 would make this whole process a lot simpler.

I had one of the BDP-1 players. I didn't think I would use it enough to keep it.
I sold it, and then I really missed having it. So, I ordered another one. You guys probably think I'm nuts. LOL

Chuck.......Earlier today when you posted on the 10B Sub I looked at your signature and saw the BDP-1 listed. I thought to myself that you had sold it but must have forgotten to remove it from your signature. Now we know the rest of the story.
