That's the SACD player in the second photo, with a WW Stratus on it. Some other cords are worse, such as on the BD player and LD player (that one has a C7 adaptor on it) to the right in the photo. I attached a photo (I just dusted a few days ago; it's back already!). Shorter cords seem helpful; I repositioned the Electra on my preamp (the gold one) so it's been stable since yesterday. But it took about 10 minutes of adjusting to get it to sit as it now does.

I have no complaints about the sound, but I don't like the drooping IECs either. I'm pleased with the smoothness the Electra brought over the Aurora 5 it replaced. Not a complete surprise, but a nice result.

Charles... on rare ocassion I will use these by Voodoo. They are the highest quality IEC right angle connectors available. I stock every possible angle/version. They eliminate the problem for good.

Oh wow I see what you mean by the really drooping blue one over on the right in the below photo, yikes! The gold Electra looks nice and evenly distributing/supporting the weight now. Probably not much you can do about the C7 one though? Those styles are very poor with dealing with weight. Are you using an adapter to connect the Wireworld to it?

I know all of the Wireworld power cables are 12AWG but are you noticing they get perhaps heavier as you move up the lineup? If that was the case I suppose putting the lighter ones on components where the IEC's were drooping might be another alternative.

Heavier because of length, perhaps. The 1m Electra was much easier to reposition than the 1.5m and 2m cords.

I saw those last time I looked at VooDoo's website, but thought nothing of it. Now, I may need several. Those are the vertical connectors, it looks like. There's a horizontal version as well. They look like they'd take care of the problem for sure. I will have to assess my connections; some pieces of gear may do better with one over the other. And good adaptors are better than buying all new power cords (probably not WW, unfortunately).

That's the laserdisc player. I have a C7 PS Audio Jewel AC power cord and I could put that on it and the problem is solved. Right now, however, there is a Pangea C7 adaptor connecting the Stratus. The cord was propped up by another of those plastic cases mentioned earlier. And I can see from the first photo it's time to dust again. Interesting to me is the plastic case is supported by only its own lip as it sits on the shelf, plus perhaps the weight of the Stratus acts as a stabilizer. Lift the cord and the case falls immediately.

But I'm now using another velcro tie on the back of the rack with the cord and the connection is holding. I lifted the cord to provide some slack and and connected the cord to the cable management slot on the back of the Sanus rack. You can make out the velcro tie near the bottom of the second photo.
