Stimela is still one of my favorite jazz piece ever. I remember hearing for the first time at Jean-Marc's place on his new Wilson speakers. It was such an amazing piece to listen to at very high volume! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1fIjdUEe5c RIP |

Hugh Masekela took that tchou tchou train
I've seen Hugh a couple of times at the Dakota in Minneapolis. He was an amazing musician. What's more important is his dedication to bringing young African musicians with him to perform worldwide - giving them a chance to succeed.
He will be missed.

Masekela was a great musician and dedicated to fighting injustice. It’s frequently said when we lose a great musician, but it certainly true - the world is a better place because of Hugh Masekela.
