Question Super Tweeters or other?

Currently I'm running some Omega Super 6 Alnico XRS's and really like the overall sound/performance. I however keep thinking about adding some sort of tweeter hopefully allowing me to have all that sweet mid range with and bit of sparkle on the top. I'm looking at offering's from Fostex (T90A, T925A, or T900A), Tannoy ST-50 Super Tweeters, or maybe a ribbon tweeter such as the Onix ERT. Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

I would ask Omega what they recommend. If they don't recommend any particular model, or any at all, be sure to pick up one with adjustable SPL and crossover levels.

The frequency response seems to go to 18KHz (-3db), so a supertweeter could add something there. There Fostex ones are accessible enough yo try it. There are some other more exotic ones like you say such as the Murata ES103A or the Tannoy ST-100, both great looking devices but a lot more expensive. The latter one has a very easy and cool way to adjust the crossover frequency and the sensitivity. As for ribbon tweeters I would recommend the Raal 70-10 or 140-15D, but you may have to come up with a crossover yourself.

Last night I remember another one: the Elac 4 PI Plus.2. It is a circular ribbon supertweeter, therefore the 4 PI name. As with the Murata and the Tannoys it is just matter of placing it on top of your current speakers. The Elac has an upper frequency range of 53KHz.
