Default Time for new speakers ?

Hello friends,

I'm curious : do you plan to buy new speakers in the next months ?
Which ones are you looking to ?
Many thanks in advance !
Cheers,

That's cool Dan. Me too, I'm delighted by the EB1i. But you don't think at all about the IB2i after all the good things that were said about them ?

I'm also a Focal lover. I have the old JMlab Mezzo Utopia and I'm very satisfied. I bought a pair of Focal Twin BE studio monitors for the bedroom and those are great too. I know the Twins are overkill for bedroom, but it's a simple system with the amp inside.

If I buy another pair of main speakers, I may get the B&W 801D. Those are special and I love the way they look.

Bill,
You made me laugh ! you saw my congrats to Annapurna right ?
Yes, the Amati Futura is probably the best looking speakers I ever saw.
But :
1/ I'm hooked with PMC : I love their sound. If I change my speakers one day, chances are very high that they will be from PMC again.
2/ I'm more concerned by sound than aesthetics. You'll understand when you will see my room !
3/ French importer of SF is not reliable. I had a very poor experience with them already with my Lyngdorf. No way to buy anymore product they carry in the future. Plus Paris dealers of SF don't set them up ! They deliver the speakers to you and that's all ! a shame for products at this price tag !

If it ain't broke. . . . Gosh, Social Security and other (limited) retirement funds tell me that it would be best if my current speakers last forever.

And, besides, I'm really happy with what I have.
