Smile Luxman SQN-150 Tube Integrated Amp

My dealer just received the new 10 wpc push pull Luxman SQ-N150 integrated amp. Typical excellent Luxman fit and finish. It has 4 JJ EL-84 power tubes and a pair of 12AX-7 tubes. The features include a solid state MM/MC phono, 3 RCA inputs and a headphone input. There are also treble, bass and balance controls. Also has a remote. The integrated was hooked up to a pair of Klipsch Forte III's. Not ultra warm sounding as the 84's seem to produce a nice dynamic sound. The mids and the top were smooth and detailed. Bottom end was very good. He was running a blue sound node through the matching CD player which has an excellent DAC. It gave an impressive soundstage. Only about 8.5"x 11 3/4" it's perfect for people that don't want large electronics dominating the room. Price is $2750 and the matching CD player $2550.

Yes. The predecessor N-10 is one of the few pieces I've owned that I should not have sold. Feel sure the new N-150 is at least its equal.

I have the SQ-N100 in a small second system and love it. The new 150 looks very cool with the meters.
