TOGA......Geez!.....carrying your pair of Revel Salon 2's and Wilson Audio Sophia 3's up the stairs must have been absolutely back-breaking! ......did you have another pair of hands helping you, or did you do it by yourself?......Philip

Dear Philip,
Thanks a lot for your kind words. My family are fine, stereo up second floor, cars are at safe place too.
You are right I was the one who email hk dealer. And they were not ready for demo at that time.
For Singapore it was worse. I went to a showroom. Momentum were there, connected and switched on,
Manager refused to play music as he said Audio excellence s owner is his close friend. He told me
He can't demo Momentum for me because he felt bad doing this to his friend. This was wrong,as I
was already there, just press play button and it will play. So I complained to Petra about this arrogance of
Her Singapore dealer, This somehow made me have a hard feeling toward this product. If it s so
Difficult to demo them. Then I don't care. Anyway, I have listed my name at Bangkok dealer too. They definitely call me
When they get a pair. I hope so.
But right now, all business here are halted, even drinking water is hard to find, let alone premium audio gears shopping,
So it will be quite a while before this project of mine come true.
After this ,wanna get Wadia series 9 to replace Esoteric 03. . It s not too bad to have a day dreaming right?
please let us know how do you like your Momentum. Thanks

And Philip, I had a few pairs of hands from my housekeepers helping me move those speakers, but they are not very strong, so
Phew... Don t wanna thing about having to carry them back in place again. The curved shape and slippery surface of Salon2 made it
Very dangerous to hold. And Sophia3 are quite short to let 4 people to hold it securely and they were slippery as well.

Just got back from a Philadelphia area demo of the Momentum monoblocks by Dan, himself. It's the second event at which I've heard them...very impressive, indeed. They were driving Wilson Sashas, tonight, and I had heard them with both Sasha and Alexandria, previously. The source (I'm pretty sure) was Dan's Sooloos Media Core 200 through his Meridian 808 CD player. Cabling was Transparent...I'm guessing in the Reference Series, not Opus, but I didn't check. The shocking thing about this evening was that the amps were, literally, finished, this morning...so talk about new out of the box!!

He did mention, briefly, his upcoming stereo amp ($25K, I believe...same chassis as the monos), and pre-amp ($28K, I think). Pre-amp due to be at CES. They have some other products coming down the line, but, at the moment, they are working, feverishly to fill the Momentum orders they have.

Hi, Read somewhere that after new year, Momentum price will be increased to $50,000.
Will anybody confirm this news ? ? At first 42,000 then 45,000 due copper price increase.
now what ? May be Breguet charge him licensing fee this time. Oh I just wish he put his
wonderful amplifier circuit into less costly chassis and use less expensive way to cool it.
Many high-end amplifiers have great design by using just normal heatsink/fan and without any fancy meter. Dream of buying a pairs is farther away from reallity..

Serge mentioned the price increase in another thread a few days ago following a visit and a listen at his dealer, so I believe the $50,000 is correct.
