I had a pair of Alto Be for almost 6 years (the longest period I ever owned a speaker), first driven by Pass X-350, then Audio-space Ref 3, Mac MC452 and now the Goldmund Telos250.

I had the focal 1028be and so enjoyed it for many months, its incredible value . very nice waf and so natural and non fatiguing , I used with lots of kit and almost always it matched well

then I moved up to the diablo and the tweeter is so entrancing with piano sounding so good , lloved them although my wife called them dustbins

I could not accommodate the scala and was frustrated that I couldn`t have the depth of scale in a floorstander and moved to logans which are also beautiful and have their own strengths but still a fan of focal
