Just picked up the Golden Ear Triton 2s, center and surrounds. Oh, and and a Salamander Synergy rack to house this all gear.

I don't really know the speaker (and am not suggesting anything negative by that at all); as to the rest, I think you are doing this right and will get a lot of enjoyment out of the system for both music and HT.

I'm really looking forward to spending the next several years adding to and tweaking this system.

Whart, the speakers do represent a bit of a compromise. I tried to strike a balance between 2 channel listening, home theater, price, and WAF. I'm very happy with the balance they represent, though I'm sure if it were a 2 channel only setup, I would have taken a different path. Plus, if everything were perfect right out of the gate, what fun would that be?
