This is the new amp from JRDG - Model 825. It is also in the Joseph Audio room. Good sounding room.

I just bought the Lawrence Audio Violins for my downstairs system. Great speaker.

Washline,

What is your opinion on the Lawrence Violins at this point. I am currently in the search for new speakers and wondered if these would be much of an upgrade to my Adagio's.

Dan

I like them a lot. I'm not sure I'm hearing them at their best with the Rogue Audio Tempest III driving them, but overall I'm very pleased with the midrange and upper frequency resolution. Bass is quite good also. The midrange is the real strength of this speaker so far. Just a lovely sound and very easy to drive. Astounding appearance. They come with a cloth cover that is made to fit over the speaker, and I leave it on most of the time. It prevents dust, and I only take it off for more serious listening.
