Default Guarneri Memento vs Guarneri Evolution for SQ ...

Has anyone compared these two side by side or under similar conditions to characterize the major sound differences?

Thanks!

Bill,

If I remember correctly, you mentioned that you would pick the Evolution over the Momento. As I understand it, the Evos are a little more difficult to drive but worth the effort. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks!!!!

Joe, if you want to purchase a Guarneri, look at the Homage. It's an original design from Franco.

When you look at the impedance curve, the Homage is the easiest one to drive as well.

Tom - would you ever trade your Momento's for Evo's?

I've heard people say the original Homage are really special too.

Mike.......You will not be disappointed. The only reason I sold the Guarneri Memento's was to move to the Anniversario's. The GM's are fabulous, especially with a subwoofer for the last octave.
