Funny how such different opinions.
I don't find them attractive at all. Creative though.
Someone else who I respect described the sound as "thin."

I do think though room and set up has to be so key to any speaker

It almost makes auditioning pointless?

What can make a hotel room sound good?

Lots of DSP or room treatments, if not both.

I agree with the "thin" sound comment. Wasn't much meat to the sound. Considering how large the speakers are it was quite a surprise.

I agree with Ad--Newport they were disappointing --while Face makes good points re Room treatments-- The ProAc Carbons --as one example at CES, sitting in the middle of an entirely untreated room sounded superb.

Go figure
