Anybody happen to know why the beautiful gloss graphite finish seems to have gone away except for Aida. It was so much more unique than the ubiquitous gloss black that every manufacturer uses, and was much more representative of classic "Sonus faber" aestethic. My upgrade path was to be the graphite Olympica IIs. Not a fan of the walnut. Bummer.

The product web still lists graphite as an option even though piano black has been added. Wonder if it's being phased out then?

It reminds me of the time when the Concerto line was available in walnut, and piano black as a premium option. Is there information that the piano black will be at an extra cost over walnut on the Olympicas?

I do love my graphite Olymica IIs. They sound and look gorgeous.

Fully agree. The gloss graphite is a stunning finish. My second favorite Sonus faber finish next to the gloss/lacquered "red" (which looks more like orange in reality). I also think that the "piano black" is bland and overused in comparison, and to make matters worse I think it carries a 5% premium! But... you gotta give people what people want, and I guess they want more of the same.

Hope to see the piano finish in person at some point on the Olympica range...

Is there a hard copy of this catalogue available? Where to get one?
