Was quite disappointed I couldn't get it to work in my system. That being said, I'm very happy with its replacement, the JCAT USB Isolator (built on the Intona Industrial platform).

I beta tested this product.

I found that although it improved the sound when playing directly from my MacBook, it wasn't any better than my trusty Oppo 103.

The Oppo 103 is an AMAZING digital transport. I can play red-book, 24 bit files, or stream Tidal to my PS Audio PWD MK II. Jitter is gone, plus, I have the added benefit of watching Bluray's if I want ;-)

Have a look at it. It beats any other transport system I've found so far, and only costs $500; same as the LANRover. Food for thought.

hi there guys, I'm wakka992 and I'm looking for info regarding PS Audio LanRover usb extender.

@RichW since you were a beta tester did you managed to take a picture of the component used from PS audio to achieve transmission and galvanic isolation?

To my knoledge they could have used either: FPGA custom design, ASIC design, Silanna all in one isolator chip

hi guys, been a while since I checked the thread but no news have followed...

I'll ask again then

I'm looking for some pics of PS Audio LanRover's internals but can't find them anywhere...

I'd just like to know whether PS Audio OEM is using custom programmed FPGA design or ASIC design.

thanks!

Been playing with it a few hours. No noise, no jitter, instant handshake between my MacBook Pro and the DAC -so far so good, works a treat.
