Yet Another K-03 coming
Emailed SIR Ivan last night and I too have a new K-03 coming. Thanks to a great deal on this machine and all of the positive feedback on this site I couldn't say no either.
And also, A huge out to Dan thank you for the fine review too! I was going to stay all MAC and get an MCD1100 but I think reading between the lines you are much more impressed Dan with this unit, not that the mcd1100 is a poor choice, but that it will serve as a better dac for me and I can connect my music server too it as well. I am sure coming from an Oppo 95 and previously a Sony SCD-777ES this is a giant leap as Neal Armstrong would say. My MX150 , 452 and 3 601s are going to be very happy driving my very custom high-end Dynaudio towers  Again thanks all I am so looking forward to this upgrade. It reminds me when I went from the C39 to the mx150, then also went from the 7270 to the 452 as my main sources. Cannot wait to load he in the rack, set the burn-in disc and go to work then come home and day by day do a little listening to hear the diff as she breaks in. thanks to everyone

Good for you! I took the leap as well. Running the unit continuously at about 150 hours so far. I did sneak a listen to a SACD over the weekend and already - WOW! Also a big surprise is how great even Sonos sounded through the coax input as I did a A/B from analog from the Sonos and digital through the DAC. The upper register of voice and cymbals have a different level of clarity. Crazy good already but I am being patient and limited the listen to a short test run. I consider this the jewel of all that I have added so far.

Dave, in my opinion, my MCD 500 is a much better CD player than my Oppo 95. I may be in the minority here but I only used the Oppo 95 for surround sound Blue Ray concerts. When I had the Oppo 95 playing stereo SACD or CD my wife even asked what was wrong with the stereo. I actually moved it down to my man cave to only use it only for movies and concerts on the larger projection screen. I does quiet well there and the 3D it provides can be a novelty though I hate to wear the glasses. The Oppo 95 can do things the MCD500 can't but for stereo music the MCD500 is the only one I listen to. If there is as much difference between the Oppo 95 and the MCD500 as the MCD500 and the K-03 I will be a very happy camper.
