Yes, there is a major difference between them. The clock in the K01 is superior to the G-orb.

Group buy on G-01's

Worth trying for sure.

In the past, when I had the P03/D03, tried the G-0rb twice at home. Really wanted to notice a diference for the good and if so was willing to go for it. But both times, I ended up thinking that there was a difference.. Probably... But nothing conclusive. So both times I passed.

With the 02s decided to give it another try and the improvement was evident and in all aspects of sound reproduction.

This difference in the degree of improvement was not due to the clock model. For the trial with the 02s, they lent me exactly the same G0rb I used twice with the 03s. When the G-01 arrived, the improvement was even greater. But it was very aparent and nice with the G0rb already. Actualy the degree of improvement was greater from going with no clock to the old model, that going from the old model to the new one (although still breaking in and I guess it will still improve some).

I don"t think the difference in perception of improvement was due to the change of digitals neither. Many people has reported nice gains by incorporating a clock to the 03s also. Although the degree of improvement reported changes depending on the case, ranging from great to slightly better.

So the other great chamges in my system in between has been and amp upgrade from the small Omegas to the big ones, and specialy a major change in speakers: from the B&W 800s to the TAD R1s. My guess is that these changes, and specialy speaker upgrade, has made the system much more resolving and capable hence the difference now is very aparent and a major improvment making sound better all around,

So if I have to make a conclusion it would be that the clock is probably one of the last things to upgrade, but if your system is there already, the clock should be an incredible upgrade and almost a most have if you can.

All the above conclusions are just pure guessing and deductioms. I have no idea for sure if that is the reason why I dis not notice an improvement with the 03s and I do to such great extend with the 02s. But it makes sense. However

In case my experience is of help to anyone considering cloking wanted to share. In your case Ivan, if my theory is right, you should not have a problem hearing a great improvement as well (although some say the difference with one box settings is not that large, is still material). Personaly I have no experience with clock and integated players.

I answer partialy. There is diference from G01 to G0rb. The 01 is better and still breaking in.

But the diference was greater (degree of improvement) from going with no clock in the system to incorporating the old clock, than that of changing models. If the G01 would not have been out I would habe bougth the G0rb also no doubt. Actually thought on making an "low ball" for the demo G0rb... It was very good. Altough Im happy I got the new model becouse yes, it is better.
