Default What do you think?

If you were going to purchase a ARC DAC8, which do you think looks cooler, silver or black? And who knows for the price of the DAC8, I could get both the Bryston BDA-1 and the BDP-1. Or get the DAC8 and and sell off a few things, the wife the kids... to get the BDA-1 too. This choice is killing me... The worst part is I haven't listened either one.
I didn't know this hobby could be so stressful.

Since it is a DAC and they are easy to move around, I would try and borrow them for the weekend and try them out.

Yes you are right Jim. I think there are both a Bryston and ARC dealer 70 to 80 miles to the east of me in Detroit. That is a lot of money to spend hoping you make the right choice without listening first.
