The Ghibli is a pretty nice car but let's just say the Maserati service guy is no where near as lonely as the Maytag guy.
I would also go with Lexus if I was shopping for a car in that price range and feel much more confident about a long term relationship with such.

But the Maserati has passione, where the Lexus is Japanese and kind of boring although it works for many years

I've had my share of "passione" to last me a lifetime of memories.
Where Passione lives, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and even Porsche, their service departments are just a passionate about taking your money as the sales department was except it's no where near as fun.

PHC1 , i am sure your right about that.
And seen in that light , the safe bet is the Lexus , it will just keep working

Read in a forum - Dee Pee's Rules of Life:

9. Driving an Italian car is like dating a stripper:
10% fun and enjoying the envy of others;
90% lamenting the cost, maintenance, and tendency towards explosive drama.

I don't know why you're looking at the Ghibli sedan when you should be looking at the Quattroporte GTS line. That way you can be disappointed with the reliability after spending TWICE as much money!
