The show's original premise needed both gents to do their thing and Edd's workshop segments were what really attracted me to the show.

Mike's lead in to each week's adventure did a great job of setting the stage. Of course his tireless work at sourcing parts, digging through breaker's yards, finding aftermarket shops and even bringing entire vehicles for their parts back to the workshop were also critical to the success of the show. Did it work? Well, the viewer numbers and popularity tell that story.

I just don't understand why they have to mess with success.

It's really a shame -- like a lot of dumb decisions that negatively affect the enthusiast (in this case, fans of the show), it boils down to owner mismanagement & money.

I've probably watched 95% of the shows -- loved 'em - even some were sort of corny, Mike and especially Edd made it fun & interesting. The latter is a very unique & quite knowledgeable mechanic who definitely does his homework. Will miss the two some.

Best sir,

Bob

Life moves on. Good for Edd. While I did watch the show, Mike always seemed a little over the top with his crackin' deals and 'put your hand here and we got a deal' antics.

As Edd said in his YouTube video asking for threats against Mike and his family to stop, we could end up with two new shows to watch and that will be a crackin' good thing.
