That's what he told people but I'm now thinking that could have been a ruse to buy some time. No one has heard from him although he seems to have the ability to accept money and keep his website active.

I don't know, but there are rumors that Accuphase will raise the retail prices at least in Germany as of January 2017.

As I am new hear I was not able to view the list. But I will say from what I know or feel. It appears to me that Accuphase has watched Barret Jackson actions and price's their stuff in the USA like it is some kind of ego purchase. I will say in Canada our Acc. prices are generally >25% less. And that is not even taking the exchange rate into consideration. I know if a retailer has one of you come calling to purchase they are suppose to hang up. They would do much better hear if it wasn't so.

Concerning official pricing in Europe, I found this dutch dealer site which indicates all the prices (including 21% VAT) on their Accuphase page:

https://www.hansaudio.nl/accuphase/

And here is a 2017 price list from Austria (including 20% VAT)

https://shop.hifiteam.at/blogs/news/...nd-neue-preise

Prices from a swiss seller:

https://www.mueller-spring.ch/shop/i...turers_id=1673

All seem to be official sellers.

In Germany, apparently the official importer PIA does not want prices to be published online.
