I am curious what his best sounding amp ever is?the current we 300b?

And the preamp? The mighty Petrvs followed by the giscours, or one of the vintage ones?

Personally I really liked the RA-349A amp and the older 300B amp. An incredible sounding amp however is the E2D amp as pictured by Omodo....but finding the tubes is a difficult endeavour.

Here are some photos of my older 300B amp. The best of the 3 varieties I tried, even consisting of the later Lundahl transformer model and the 300B Ltd (which is really just the same model?)







As you say...they dont make'em like that anymore.

I would rate the RA-1857 up there with any preamp in the world today along with the Petrus and the Chateau Neuf du Pope, so good even God put his name to it....sorry, too early for bad jokes. I'll just repost my pics from the other thread.
