No Oscar viewing here. I could not care less about Hollywood patting itself on its egotistical back. It's a churn for future cash flow.

I watched and enjoyed it. I like watching award shows because I like to see people so happy when they win. It's refreshing as opposed to all the negativity and violence on TV. I also like the Oscars because it's a mix of music and acting, and they keep it classy for the most part unlike many other award shows where they tend to whore it up.

Bring back Billy. Seth Mcfarlane is just not funny at all. His jokes are obvious and play to the lowest common denominator.

Have read a couple of blurbs on several news sites saying that some of the actors/actresses and some academy folks weren't too happy with some of the jokes last night. Seemed pretty harmless to me, but I guess some took a little offense.
