Thumbs up Race to 10

Let's have some fun and get the first 10 sold by today!

Alberto... As the orders come in and when you reach 10 units; do a random drawing, and I'll donate $50 to the lucky winner toward the purchase of their "Delicious One"

*the winner just needs to be a Subscriber or Aficionado member!

When you're burning those DACs, preamps, amps (like those with Teflon cap), and the highs and are a bit too steely and edgy (like my Bifrost was when I got it), you can use The Delicious One to take the edge off things. My Bifrost damn near drove me out of the room the first few days I had it...
Thank PC, I'll add "burn in ointment" that to the list of possible uses .

Holy cow, that's so nice and generous of you.

So far we have 5 spoken for. People seem to like to pick their serial number so here's where we stand (I've only listed the names of people who've posted their interest publicly.)

Serial #

02: Taken
03: Taken
04:

06: Puma Cat

5 down, 5 to go; and perhaps I should take a couple more for a waiting list ... just in case someone changes their mind.

Thank you again Ivan!

BUT THIS IS FOR REAL?!!!!!

Took me full cup of tea to figure out what the heck was going on. Congratulations, Alberto! Sign me up! Maybe this will take the edge off some of those annoying violin concertos.
Thank you Pider,

I am glad you figured out that this post was no joke .

Any preference for serial number? We still have: 4, 5, 7, 9 and 10.

Alberto,

Your unit is a very good idea.
I am lucky to use 2 vintage McIntosh systems where the loudness is extremely useful. The sound is pretty flat at low volume and becomes fuller and 3dimensional when I turn on the loudness.
My 5 band EQ on the C48 preamp finally does not see much use.

But I am surprised to see you need this loudness on your Shindo system.
Where my Shindo system really shines and outperform the others and all the systems I had until today, is that ( and this happens with the Wilson's and the Rega's) :

- it sounds absolutely the same no matter the volume. It is always full and 3D and I never, ever need more bass or treble.
- I never get any recording sounding harsh or cold. If I like the music, I always enjoy listening to it, no matter the recording quality.
- I never find myself hoping for a better sound. While of course I know that there are better speakers and better electronics. ( Wilson Alexia's are among them...)

So I do not need the Delicious 1 but if I was still with my C1000 / 2301 combo, it would probably be a must.
Still, I am surprised that you needed one with your Shindo system...
