Oh man...I'm loving my pre and power amps. And the big surprise is the LP1...it's very good despite its modest price! Arc doesn't make any "bad" product. The CD6 just didn't thrill me. It's still a good unit. I only returned it because I had some issues with it and I think I can do better in that price range. The k03 will prove me right...or wrong.

But all of this stuff only has less than 200 hrs on it!

Glad it's all coming together nicely. I am sure the K-03 will satisfy so good luck with it.

The K0-3 and CD9 are both very good units. I have both in my system. The K-03 will go a bit deeper in the low end with slightly better transient response. The CD9 has better vocal as expected with its tube. If used as a DAC, both units benefit with a good USB to AES/Coax converter. I use a Berkeley USB converter.

I had an Accuphase DP-500 and being Red Book only was very good, then came the K-03, the SACD was very good but not so on Red book, the Accuphase was better. That said the K-03 is a nice player. I end up with vinyl and well it is heaven on earth.
