Accuphase did a great job in E-560. I´m very happy with it. I think the only reason to release E-600 is to increase power. I don´t think sound quality will be better than E-560.

They don't seem to have any reasoning why some units use an analogue VU and others don't although far more of their equipment use the analogue meters which are incredibly accurate.

If it has more power I might pull the trigger on it, although I agree the E-560 VU meters are better to look at.
Have been thinking about separates too, but I still like the "comfort" of having an integrated amplifier.

All in all the E-560 is already great (IMHO anyway), there are not that many amplifiers which are so quiet, and have such a precise volume control. (and fully balanced design, which works well with Ayre and Wadia players)

Normally Accuphase won't bring new equipment if it doesn't better the old model (except the experience I had with the DP-500)
The E-560 was a definite step up from the E-550 I owned before, not a world of difference but easy pin point.

I guess it will be next year before available in Europe.

It will have 30W/ch @8ohm just like the E560

Price is 680 000 yens vs 600 000 for the E560.

Hi,

this E600 is a really "new gear": a lot of news inside them.
Mono and Stereo High-End Audio Magazine: Accuphase E-600

but will be too a new "E500?" in place of the E460 fast delivered?

OT: a great surprise is sure the Yamaha AS3000: is not Accuphase but sound amazing good and what for price! -> to listen!!!
