I am curious too. I've heard that the B1D is up there with the Giya range. Is it true?

The claim is that it is improved but at the same time the Giya models have a more sophisticated bass setup. The simpler setup in the B1 misses out on the tapered tube aspect of the higher models.

It is improved.
Is it worth the premium over the 'normal' B1? Up to the listener. It comes dangerously close in price to the G4. But some prefer the Decade above the G4. Impressions here: http://www.audioaficionado.org/event...28-2016-a.html

B1 " vive la originale" is going to have to do me on my budget. Still, i'm lucky to have that in the bigger scheme of things.
