I would look at it this way: what does a decent MQA DAC cost? Probably about the same as a trip to Europe. This way, you keep your current DAC and get the trip. It’s a win win [emoji23]

I know I wouldn't have to ask my wife twice if she would want to take a vacation to Europe.

I am sorry already for the stupid question, but when I upgrade my Aurender the volume is degreased with 40%.
Is this possible?
With kind regards

Hi Patrick.....I have not experienced this. You might want to open up the settings and go to Help and “Send remote support email” Response time is usually good.

Patrick.......Have you tried shutting down your Aurender music server? Long press the power button, then wait for the sever to shut down, then turn the switch on the rear panel off. Wait a minute or so, then turn the rear panel switch back on, and then power up the Aurender as usual. Sometime a cold boot can solve mystery issues.

Am I missing something, I only see 4.15.28, and I am within the update section of the windows pop up, it’s telling me I am up to date.

I think it depends on which "family"of unit you have as the update is expressed as 4(5).15.28; some units get 4.15.28 and some get 5.15.28.
