WireWorld Eclipse Speaker Cables
I recently purchased an 8 foot bi-wired pair of Eclipse cables. I was reluctant to spend any more money on speaker cables at first, after all how much better can the sound of a good system get. Well I'm happy to say that after hooking them up and listening to them for a couple of weeks now, I have a couple of very noticeable improvements that I have found very impressive. I'm not an expert reviewer or a hi-tech geek, so my comments will be very simple and easy to understand for everyone that cares to read this:
1. In 30+ years I never understood why so many hi-end stores said you should listen to your system "flat". I have alway thought it sounded awful that way(even in the hi-end stores) & for sure the highs needed to be cranked way to the right. Guess what? With the WireWorld Eclipse cables I am now listening to my system flat. It sounds absolutely the best I've ever heard. I feel that I cheated my Mcintosh equipment all these years by using other inadequate cables/wires, some of them not all that cheap either. 2. I have to quite often mute my system to find out where sounds that I've never heard before are coming from. I wonder if it's from another room or what. It has been turning out to be instruments in very familiar songs that I'm listening to, that I never had heard before. This is quite amazing in itself. These cables were recommended to me by Ivan. I also purchased them from him. I think they're a great addition to my system and I look forward to exploring with more WireWorld cables soon. Thanks Ivan!
