My Sonus Faber IL Cremonese speakers arrived this week . For the rest of the year I plan on purchasing an audio rack, and either the MSB Discrete DAC or the Esoteric D-05X.

It was hard to match levels exactly, then after it was all said and done, put it back to the larger single higher power tube amp and wallah, a more balanced and dynamic sound came back. Tried the same scenario on other amps for bass, including some Cary SS amps, and the big tube amp on the AMT too, and nope sure enough, the single higher power tube amp -OR- the single higher power SS amp offered the best overall dynamics with the Heil AMTs. Never tried the other Mundorf AMTs (like PAP has before) but wanted to.

Are you fairly serious about trying the BHK 300s with the PAP Heil AMTs?

I'm very interested in how the amp(s) works out for you. We can message off line if that helps. I'm very temped to try the BHK 250 at some point. Good stuff.
Will definitely try it with the BHK on the Heils, especially after your recommendation. I plan on comparing tri-amping with the 6 channel McIntosh, tri-amping with the BHK on the Heils and the Mac on the woofers, and running full range with the BHKs. Should be n interesting ride...

Only 2mon into the new year and my audio plans are all blown up. Started off in the right direction with a new LP weight. Then ran across a pair of L-07M monoblocks that I knew I needed. Wonder what's next?

Knowing I was going to be an empty nester soon, for the last two years I’ve been swapping out gear in my tiny 10 x 11 room. Found something that really works in this small space but will be moving into a 15.5 x 22 room in the fall. Already in planning stages with better soundproofing than I already have in this small room. With my current soundproofing I can play up to 90db peaks without my neighbors hearing anything (most of the time) in my townhouse.
Spent some time with Keene Building Supplies at the builders show in Vegas last week and they have some really terrific products for noise control, especially for low frequencies.
Going to AXPONA in April mainly to look at phono stages. I’m just not there with my MP1100. So as for equipment that may be my only upgrade this year, besides building my new space.

Im scheduled to send my First Sound preamp to have a second power supply added.

I'm changing rhe OS on my server from win 10 to Linux.

I'm changing the power feed to my rack. It will be a different configuration of OFC cable from the panel to the rack. Again it will terminate directly into my power stip. This time the power stip is built with OFC bus bar. All feeds to the gear will be solidly bolted to the bus bar, no receptacles.

Adding additional grounding rods to my service and possible adding a sub panel.

I bought a new Allo Volt + D amp. I am biamping my Pure Audio Trio 15 horn speakers. I already have in hand 10" Ckassic Audio Nirvana drivers to swap out the horn in the pure audio.

I will also make a ported box to try the Audio Nirvana as a stand alone full range driver.

I think thats a good start.

Forgot to add, building a new rack and cabinet to hold records.

I’m contemplating a new phono preamp. What are you considering?

How do you like your PAP speakers? Is the Audio Nirvana an alternative to the Voxativ?

Lets see a new server, most likely a Innuos Zenith Mk3, a pair of Harbeths and the new Rogue Cronus Mag III and a new DAC/Streamer. Dream , dream dream.

It looks like I will be picking up a pair of Wilson Sabrinas (thanks to alkizz).

Now I just need to find a suitable amp to pair with them.
