...so I see the CJ section here and join up immediately, then days later (just 20 minutes ago) I notice the Logan and Maggie area. ..feeling a bit silly now, but I like it even better here now.

1996 FXSTC. 'just yet another expensive hobby.

Fortunately, about 15 years ago, it hit me that riding an MC without earplugs would eventually, if had not already, damaged my hearing enough that the MC hobby would eventually kill the audiophile hobby. thus I've been wearing earplugs ever since when riding, cutting lawn, etc.etc. hopefully I wised up early enough.

Everyone I tell that story to automatically thinks it's loud pipes. In reality it's the wind noise that was far more damaging.

I agree "EXPENSIVE", but those trips / rides can't be replaced by taking the same route in a car or flying to the destination.

I always keep multiple packs of earplugs stashed on the bikes.

listening to great music, or cruising along on a winding road on an MC. I thoroughly enjoy both and have for many years.
